Wichita can expect a warm, humid day on Friday, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the low to mid-90s under mostly sunny skies. Winds out of the east will be light, occasionally pushing into the mid-teens.
Saturday will be hot and sunny, forecasters say, with highs topping 100 degrees. Winds will shift to the south and gust to nearly 30 miles an hour at times.
Those southerly winds will ease somewhat on Sunday, when highs will top out in the mid- to upper 90s. Chances for rain arrive Sunday night and persist into early Monday morning.
