Wichita could see patchy fog through much of the morning before skies gradually clear the rest of the day.

Thursday’s highs should top out in the low 90s, forecasters say, with east winds in the teens. Gusts should top 20 miles an hour.

Overnight lows will be in the low 70s, with Friday offering sunny skies and highs in the mid-90s. The weekend will be hotter still, forecasters say, with highs touching 100 on Saturday and nearing triple digits on Sunday.

But a cold front arrives late Sunday night, offering a chance for showers and thunderstorms as well as cooler temperatures.
