A scenic photo of a strong thunderstorm near Tribune on Sunday is garnering buzz on social media.

Veteran storm chaser Roger Hill shot the photo, which comes off as an iconic image of the Sunflower State: wheat field, grain elevator in a small town, and majestic thunderstorm.

Severe weather in the region produced a brief tornado 18 miles northwest of Deerfield in far western Kansas, according to the Storm Prediction Center, but no damage was reported.

Tribune is nearly 300 miles west of Wichita, near the Colorado border.
