The heat returns to the Wichita area on Monday, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the low to mid-90s, with sunny skies and light north winds. Overnight lows will dip to the upper 60s before temperatures surge near 100 on Tuesday.
Wednesday looks even hotter, forecasters say, with July ushering in what could be Wichita’s first triple-digit day of the season. But cooler temperatures will prevail as the holiday weekend nears.
