It’ll be hot and breezy on Monday in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs should reach the upper 90s under sunny skies, with south-southwest winds in the teens and 20s, with gusts topping 30 miles an hour at times. Overnight lows will fall only to the low 70s.
Tuesday will offer more of the same, forecasters say, with highs in the upper 90s and plenty of sunshine. Winds will ease, however, dipping to the teens and gusting only to about 20 miles an hour.
Highs will remain in the upper 90s until late in the week, forecasters say, when chances for showers and thunderstorms arrive on Friday.
