Autumn flexes its muscles a bit in the Wichita area on Friday.
It’ll be sunny, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-60s. But northwesterly winds will be gusty, with steady breezes in the upper teens and gusts surging beyond 35 mph.
Overnight lows will slide all the way into the mid-30s early Saturday morning before temperatures rebound over the weekend. Highs will be in the 70s both days, forecasters say, with plenty of sunshine.
Winds will shift to the west-southwest and ease to the single digits.
