Summer’s heat has settled in for a lengthy stay in the Sunflower State, forecasters say.
Highs on Monday will be in the low 90s in the Wichita area and they’ll stay in the 90s most of the week. Sunshine will be abundant, with light northerly winds today.
Those winds will shift to the south later in the week and intensify as highs climb into the mid-90s, forecasters say. Chances for showers and thunderstorms arrive Wednesday night.
