Wichita weather: Clearing skies, highs in low 90s

Overnight sprinkles brought a trace of precipitation to Wichita, but forecasters say Friday should be a dry day in the region.

Morning clouds should gradually dissipate, with highs reaching the low 90s by mid-afternoon. Winds will again be breezy, with easterly winds shifting to the south. Steady winds in the teens will occasionally top 30 miles an hour in gusts.

The weekend should see highs in the low 90s with sunny skies on Saturday and a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, forecasters say.
