It’ll be a cloudy, breezy day Tuesday in the Wichita metropolitan area, forecasters say.

Highs should reach the low 80s with the sun peeking out from the clouds now and then. South-southeasterly winds will be in the teens, gusting to more than 25 miles an hour at times.

Overnight lows will only fall to the mid-60s under cloudy skies, forecasters say. Winds won’t ease much tonight, and will approach 30 miles an hour in gusts on Wednesday.

It’ll be warmer and sunnier on Wednesday, with highs in the mid-80s. Temperatures will remain in the mid-80s the rest of the week, with slight chances for showers and thunderstorms on Thursday night and Friday morning.
