Wichita gets another day to dry out a bit before the next round of showers and thunderstorms arrives on Tuesday, forecasters say.

Highs today on a sunny, breezy day will be in the low 70s, with northerly winds in the teens and gusts approaching 25 miles an hour. Lows tonight will be in the low 50s and temperatures will only reach the mid-60s on Tuesday as clouds return.

Showers are possible after noon on Tuesday, forecasters say, and become much more likely in the evening. There could be thunderstorms as well.

More rain is possible in the region on Wednesday.
