There could be rain in Wichita’s Wednesday morning before skies start to slowly clear.
Cooler air is on the way, forecasters say, with highs reaching only the upper 70s. It’ll be breezy, with west winds in the teens early and strengthening into the 20s later in the day. Gusts could reach 30 mph.
Overnight lows will fall to the low 50s, forecasters say, before temperatures rebound to the low 70s on a mostly sunny Thursday. Winds will crawl into the double digits out of the northeast.
Friday brings another chance of showers, forecasters say, with highs only in the low 60s.
