Wichita will get a break Monday from a rainy spell that has brought needed precipitation to the region.
Highs today under mostly sunny skies will reach the mid-60s, forecasters say, with light northerly winds occasionally gusting to more than 20 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will dip to the mid-40s before temperatures rebound to the low 70s on Tuesday. But there will be more chances for showers and thunderstorms returning on Tuesday, forecasters say, and chances will persist through the rest of the week.
Stay tuned to later forecasts for more information.
