There’s a chance of showers or thunderstorms this morning and again later tonight in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs should be several degrees cooler than Wednesday, but they’ll still be in the low to mid-70s. Winds will be out of the north, gusting to more than 25 miles an hour at times.
Lows will drop to the mid-40s overnight, forecasters say, with north winds remaining robust. Gusts could approach 30 miles an hour at times.
Friday morning offers more chances for showers, with highs only in the mid- to upper 50s. The weekend will be winder and warmer, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-60s.
