Late-night showers and thunderstorms should be finished by sunrise on Saturday in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Skies will gradually clear throughout the day Saturday, with highs climbing into the upper 80s. Winds will be light out of the south and southwest.
The rest of Labor Day weekend will see abundant sunshine and highs in the low to mid-90s, forecasters say. Winds will remain light out of the south.
A cold front is projected to move through the region Monday night, bringing a good chance of showers and thunderstorms early Tuesday - along with much cooler temperatures.
Highs Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to only be in the 70s.
