All that thunder late Monday night didn’t translate into much rain in the Wichita area.
Officially, Wichita logged only a trace of rain next to the Eisenhower airport, said Jaclyn Ritzman, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. But folks who live near Park City north of town received more than half an inch of rain.
“It was a pretty narrow band,” Ritzman said.
Another chance of showers comes Wednesday, Ritzman said — and there may even be a few snow flurries early Thursday morning. But don’t expect any accumulation.
