Wichita can expect clearing skies, breezy conditions and highs in the low to mid-70s on Tuesday, forecasters say.
Winds will be out of the south early in the day, then shift to the west and northwest later. Those winds will strengthen from the low teens to the 20s as the day stretches out, gusting to more than 30 miles an hour at times, forecasters say.
Overnight lows will settle in the mid-40s under mostly clear skies. Winds will shift back to the south and ease to the teens.
Wednesday will offer more 70s with mostly cloudy skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms, forecasters say. Winds could again top 30 miles an hour in gusts.
