It’ll be warm again on Wednesday in the Wichita area, forecasters say, but winds will finally ease a bit.
There’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. Some of the storms could be strong, with large hail and winds of 60 mph the primary threat.
High temperatures should again reach the low 90s, forecasters say, with light southerly winds shifting to the southwest later in the day. Steady breezes will be in the teens, with gusts creeping into the 20s.
Thursday will turn even hotter, forecasters say, with highs reaching the mid- to upper 90s on a partly cloudy day. A few showers and thunderstorms may pop up in the afternoon and evening.
