It’ll be a sunny and pleasant day in the Wichita area on Friday — though an awful lot of folks will likely be glued to televisions much of the afternoon and not outdoors to enjoy the weather.
Highs will be in the low 70s, forecasters say, with light southwest winds staying in single digits on the day both Wichita State and Kansas play in the NCAA Tournament. There may be some patchy dense fog for the morning commute in the Wichita metropolitan area, but that will burn off by about 10 a.m.
The weekend will be pleasant as well, forecasters say, with sunny skies, light winds and highs in the mid-70s.
