Wichita weather: Windy and warmer, but more snow on Wednesday

Temperatures will push into the 50s on a cloudy, windy day in the Wichita area Tuesday, forecasters say.

But don’t put that snow shovel away just yet.

Snow is expected to move into the area late tonight and Wednesday, delivering perhaps another inch or so to the metropolitan area, forecasters say. Lows tonight will be in the upper teens to low 20s, with highs on Wednesday only in the upper 20s to low 30s.

But this latest cold blast won’t last long, forecasters say, with highs rebounding to the 40s on Thursday and the 50s by the weekend.
