Highs won’t get out of the mid-20s on Thursday in Wichita, with north winds gusting at times to 25 miles an hour. Lows tonight will drop to single digits, with wind chills falling below zero. A few inches of snow is expected in southwest Kansas.
Friday will feel a lot like Thursday in Wichita, forecasters say, with highs in the mid-20s and wind chills below 0 at times. Lows will be in the low teens.
Snow is likely across most of the state on Saturday and Sunday, forecasters say, with the wintry precipitation transitioning to sleet and freezing rain later Sunday and into Monday. Check later forecasts for snowfall predictions.
