It’ll be sunny and quite a bit warmer on Tuesday in the Wichita area, forecasters say.
Highs will be in the mid-40s – nearly double Monday’s high – with light and variable winds sometimes touching double digits. Overnight lows may drop into the upper teens, and then Wednesday will offer a second helping of Tuesday’s weather.
Highs should again be in the mid-40s, with sunshine and light breezes. But a cold front arrives Wednesday night, forecasters say, bringing a slight chance of snow and much stronger winds.
Northwesterly winds will pick up into the upper teens and gust to between 25 and 35 miles an hour. Thursday’s high may not reach the mid-20s.
