A sunny but cold day awaits Wichita on Wednesday, forecasters say.
Highs will struggle to reach the mid-30s, with north-northwest winds pushing into the mid-teens. Gusts may top 20 miles an hour.
Overnight lows will dip into the teens, forecasters say, before Thursday offers slightly warmer temperatures and stronger winds. Highs will be in the upper 30, with south-southeast winds in the teens and gusting to the mid-20s.
Friday will be much warmer, with highs in the mid- to upper 40s, but the weekend brings a chance of snow to the region.
