There could be some patchy fog in the Wichita metropolitan area through mid-morning, forecasters say, before conditions clear on what will be a warm, breezy day.
Highs should reach the mid-70s, with south winds gusting to more than 30 miles an hour later this afternoon. Steady breezes will be in the low 20s, forecasters say.
Overnight lows will settle in the upper 50s, with more sunshine and highs in the upper 70s on Wednesday.
A good chance of rain arrives Thursday and lingers through Friday morning, forecasters say, with much cooler temperatures Friday and this weekend.
