Wichita-area residents can expect cloudy skies and maybe a few sprinkles Wednesday.
The higher chance for rain and thunderstorms will come later Thursday and into Friday, said Kevin Darmofal, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Wichita. The rain could linger into Saturday.
Wednesday’s high temperature will be around 70; it will cool down to the mid-50s overnight, he said.
Wednesday’s winds will be from the southeast at 10 to 15 mph.
