One person dead after rollover crash on Saturday, Kansas Highway Patrol says

One person is dead after a rollover crash early Saturday morning in Decatur County, Kansas Highway Patrol crash logs show.

The report did not provide the identity of the crash victim, but said the wreck happened around 3 a.m. in the southbound lanes of K-383 about seven miles northeast of the K-123 junction at Dresden, Kansas.

The victim was heading south on K-383 when the vehicle left the road to the right. The vehicle over-corrected itself, and slid sideways into a ditch, the report said.

The vehicle rolled one time and came to rest on its wheels. The driver was ejected from the vehicle when it rolled, the report added.

It is unknown if victim died at the scene of the crash, or if they were taken to a hospital and later died.
