She was the voice of Popeye’s girlfriend, Olive Oyl, on Saturday morning TV. She was born in Wichita but graduated from Topeka. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, she moved to Los Angeles and began her career doing voice-overs for Hanna-Barbera’s animated TV programs.
She was Brenda and Daisy Mayhem in "Scooby-Doo," Wendy in "Yogi’s Space Race" and Betty and Miss Twilly in "Fred and Barney." She also was a voice in Alka-Seltzer and Dole pineapple commercials and had voice parts in the 1987 thriller movies "Fatal Attraction" and "Jaws: The Revenge."
But she was best known as the voice of Olive Oyl in "The All-New Popeye Hour" from 1978 to 1983.
