A debate Sunday afternoon between 4th District congressional candidates on KFDI radio has been canceled.
Republican candidate Mike Pompeo said he wouldn't be able to attend because of a scheduling conflict, the station confirmed Friday.
Democratic candidate Raj Goyle's campaign said Pompeo has also backed out of a League of Women Voters debate on KAKE-TV slated for Oct. 23 at 1 p.m.
That debate also has been canceled.
Goyle's campaign called the move hypocritical because Pompeo's campaign blasted Goyle for not attending a Wichita Crime Commission debate in late August.
