Which ‘univeristy’ did you graduate from?
More than 1,800 degrees were expected to be awarded to TCU students during three ceremonies on Saturday, a day that will long be remembered by the graduates and their families.
For some, the memory might include a chuckle.
On the cover of the program for the ceremonies, Texas Christian “University” was misspelled “Univeristy.”
The Star-Telegram certainly understand how typographical errors happen — we stumble upon them daily in stories that are published online and in print.
As far as the TCU typo, a school spokeswoman said “we will investigate on Monday to determine how that happened.”
Of course, social media had a laugh:
