The record: Information about escapees from Kansas Department of Corrections facilities.
Why you'd want them: To learn more about escaped inmates and public safety.
Where you get the records: From the Kansas Department of Corrections' Web site, www. dc.state.ks.us. From the menu on the left, click on the "Escapees" link. Information includes a physical description of the inmate and a photograph as well as information about whether he or she is considered armed and dangerous.
How much it will cost: The information is free.
