Prime Prep (Texas) Academy forward Omar Sherman is headed to Miami (Fla.), according to Scout.com. Sherman visited Wichita State earlier this month (along with Northwest Florida State College center Stephen Hurt).
According to Scout.com, WSU made a Thursday visit to appeal to Sherman.
The Shockers are in the market for a young point guard because freshman D.J. Bowles’ medical condition. They are, according to Adam Zagoria, one of several schools interested in Brewster (N.H.) Academy’s Devonte’ Graham.Post Sean O’Mara, who visited WSU in August, is also an excellent offensive tackle. He told the Chicago Tribune he will decide on a college soon and is considering WSU, Loyola, Seton Hall, Xavier and UMass.
