Growth will continue, at 2.4 percent, this year and rise slightly to 2.8 percent next year, according to the newly-released outlook by the National Association of Business Economists. That’s pretty weak and it will feel pretty weak for a while. The good news is that hiring will probably accelerate slightly, falling to 8 percent by the end of the year. I guess this is what deleveraging feels like.
