Traylor, a 6-foot-7 Chicago native who just began playing the game competitively three years ago, is the No. 141 player in the 2011 class according to Rivals.com. He will join fellow freshman Braeden Anderson in providing depth behind Thomas Robinson and Jeff Withey inside.
KU now awaits the decision of Traylor’s teammate, five-star forward DeAndre Daniels, who is reportedly choosing between KU and Texas.
