Every Colorado fan at Coors Events Center waved their arms horizontally in unison to signify Rodney McGruder’s buzzer-beating three was a hair late Saturday night.
Then every player and coach involved with the Buffaloes’ 58-56 victory over Kansas State talked about the game-winner that wasn’t.
It was a thrilling end to a game that you don’t often see, but when the Wildcats look back on this loss they will blame it on many other areas than the final play.
“It’s not about that last shot,” K-State coach Frank Martin said. “It’s about everything else before that last shot.” (more…)
