Bombardier's Belfast facilty to make Learjet wing

Bombardier Aerospace said that the development and production of composite wing skin panels and spar components for its new Learjet 85 business jet will be built at its Belfast, North Ireland plant.

Final assembly of the wings, the fuselage and other components will be done at the company’s plant in Queretaro, Mexico, and shipped to Wichita’s Learjet plant for  for final assembly, paint, production flight test and customer delivery.

First deliveries of the $18.25 million jet are scheduled for 2013.
