WICHITA — When last we left Brandon Steven, the Wichita businessman had just returned home after placing a painful 10th in the World Series of Poker.
Not bad out of a starting field of 7,319 players, and the $635,011 he pocketed didn't hurt. The painful part was he was only one spot away from playing in the finals.
Steven said it was time to get back to business and put poker aside, but that didn't last long.
He's currently in 10th place during Day 3 of the 5-day World Poker Tour Festa al Lago at the Bellagio in Las Vegas.
There are 41 players left of the more than 300 who started the tournament.
We'll let you know what happens.
