Candidates are all right in Kansas

In a commentary headlined "The age of immoderation," the British magazine the Economist weighed in on Kansas' GOP Senate primary, noting that Jerry Moran and Todd Tiahrt absurdly questioned each other's conservatism and that former Gov. Kathleen Sebelius' "name usually elicits a snarl" now that the Democrat serves in President Obama's Cabinet. "In most states candidates must tack to the centre in the general election. In Kansas this looks increasingly unnecessary," the magazine concluded.
