Large hail and heavy rain is being reported in portions of Reno and Sedgwick County as a complex of intense thunderstorms rolls through southcentral Kansas.
Hail as large as tennis balls and baseballs has been reported. This hail fell at the home of my oldest sister, Mary, who lives between Ost and Lake Cheney just inside Reno County.
A brief tornado touchdown was reported east of Pretty Prairie in Reno County, but it may have been a downburst rather than a funnel cloud.
