We’re about 30 minutes away from kickoff at Snyder Family Stadium, and once again it’s a beautiful day for football.
The crowd is expected to be higher than 45,000, and many of them are starting to file into the stadium. The atmosphere won’t be as fantastic as it was last week, when a sellout crowd turned out to watch K-State defeat UCLA, but it should be an exciting night all the same.
The teams are warming up, and Missouri State is likely planning a way to slow down Daniel Thomas, who rushed for 234 yards last week. K-State is likely thinking about getting off to a fast start.
Virginia Tech and Minnesota both lost to lesser teams today (James Madison and South Dakota) and a big lead will help make sure the Wildcats avoid a similar fate.
I expect K-State to come out motivated. Bill Snyder and its rushing game won’t let it come out flat in any game. My prediction for the game is K-State 44, Missouri State 13.
