Wichita’s aerospace industry is well known throughout the country and the world. The attention this week comes from the Polish Embassy in Washington. The delegation is in Wichita today through Friday to learn more about the local industry, according to the Kansas World Trade Center.
The government of Poland is hosting a Poland-American Breakfast Conference at the Hyatt Regency Wichita tomorrow as a way for the delegation to network with area business leaders, the Kansas World Trade Center said.
The delegation will be led by the Honorable Dariusz Bogdan, Undersecretary of State of the Polish Ministry of Economy. Government officials, representatives of the Institute of Aviation in Warsaw, the Polish Academy of Sciences and Polish aerospace companies will be in attendance.
They plan to visit the National Institute of Aviation Research, Boeing Wichita and Cessna Aircraft.
