…a trip to the doctor’s office turns into a detailed discussion of impending storms.
A glance out the window captured the doctor’s interest, and he launched into a knowledgeable discourse on dry lines and storm formation. I had to smile – and then remind him why I was there.
Watching the storm clouds mushroom into the upper atmosphere later Tuesday afternoon also made me smile. What a vibrant reflection of spring’s arrival.
And I couldn’t resist lingering outside upon my return home to take in that fresh fragrance of rain in the air. Talk about “spring clean” – that’s what the air smelled like.
The flash of lightning and ripple of distant thunder reminded me shelter was needed, and if they weren’t convincing enough the fat raindrops that began pelting me drove the point home.
