Last season we saw the Northwest boys’ track team make some history and bring home the school’s first titles from league and regional meets. The Grizzlies were loaded with top-end talent and won the league meet by 18 points.
Now most of that talent is back for Northwest, but the rest of the City League has improved. Judging from early season performances, Southeast is right with, if not ahead, of Northwest. Bishop Carroll is always strong, as is Heights.
Four teams appear to have shots at this year’s title. Let’s see some thoughts from coaches in the league on the race. Click the jump to find out.
