The Kansas State Athletics Department will hold a news conference at 1:30 p.m. today to make an announcement regarding its men's basketball program.
The announcement will be a contract extension for coach Frank Martin, according to a source with knowledge of the situation.
Terms of the deal will be released at the news conference.
Martin and athletic director John Currie have been in contract negotiations for the past few months. Martin’s agent, Richard Katz, was at Bramlage Coliseum last night for the Wildcats’ loss to Iowa State.
