An article in today's Eagle reports on some of the people behind the tea party movement in Wichita and what they believe. Nationally, New York Times columnist David Brooks notes how the tea partiers are copying some of the protest methods used by the left during the Vietnam War, and that they also share similar anti-establishment views. "Both movements are built on the assumption that the people are pure and virtuous and that evil is introduced into society by corrupt elites and rotten authority structures," Brooks writes.
