Wichita State went through a casual practice on Monday with coach Gregg Marshall on the road recruiting.
Gabe Blair is confident he will play on Friday. He sat out Saturday’s win over Southern Illinois with a bruised left thigh. He expects to practice this week, although he may sit out some of the sessions.
“I feel good,” he said. “I could have played last game. But there wasn’t a need to. The next time I’ll play, I’ll be 100 percent, or 99 at least.”
Garrett Stutz described his ankle as 85 percent healthy before heading for treatment. Stutz rolled it late in the first half Saturday. He played in the second half.Marshall’s radio show is moved to Wednesday at 6 p.m.
