Wichita State at Missouri State

Wichita State gets another chance to confront its road ghosts at the JQH Arena. The Shockers are 2-17  in MVC road games under coach Gregg Marshall. Last season’s Wade Knapp-dunkfest at the JQH Arena was one of the worst losses. MSU overwhelmed the Shockers from the start in a 68-55 win. Oddly enough, it was so bad it turned WSU’s season around.

Before the season, this seemed like a road game one could put in WSU’s column. That is no longer the case. A win would be an upset, and a significant move for WSU. Like the Illinois State game, a loss isn’t a disaster. But every road loss makes the next one harder to get.Around the Valley
