Wildcats break into top 10

Kansas State rose in both national polls today, and is now ranked in the top 10 of the ESPN/USA Today Coaches poll.

It is the Wildcats’ first top 10 ranking in the poll since USA Today took over its ownership for the 1991-92 season.

K-State is No. 11 in the AP poll, which is the program’s highest AP ranking since former coach Jack Hartman guided the Wildcats to No. 9 in 1973. K-State was ranked 12th in both polls last week.

The Wildcats also sport a top 10 RPI ranking. (more…)
