Light snow is being reported in the Wichita area as the Monday morning commute hits its stride.

Northerly winds will stay in the single digits today. Overnight lows will also dip into single numbers around Wichita, and to nearly 0 in northern Kansas.

Southerly winds will warm Tuesday up a little, with highs in the mid-20s, but forecasters say a reinforcing blast of arctic air will send temperatures diving to near record levels the rest of the week.
