The winning streak is up to seven, and as long as the Kansas State basketball team takes care of business it will head into Big 12 play with a 13-1 record.
That’s what Saturday’s 87-74 victory over Alabama did for the Wildcats. They have just three games remaining before conference play begins on Jan. 9 at Missouri, and all three come at home against mid-major opponents.
Cleveland State will pose a challenge, sure, but that challenge won’t be anything like the past four games K-State has won. Since a lackluster showing against Fort Hays State, the Wildcats have reeled off big-time wins against Washington State, Xavier, UNLV and Alabama. (more…)
