Wade Weibert has been a fixture on Kansas State’s offensive line this season. The junior started the first game at right guard and moved to center for the last four.
At 6-foot-4 and 290 pounds, he is very difficult to move off the line and has been a welcome addition to K-State’s roster after transferring in from Butler County Community College in 2007 and redshirting in 2008. He is also very well-spoken.
This week, a standard question about Texas Tech somehow led to Weibert explaining how he doesn’t have cable and spends most of his free time listening to, or reading about, his favorite rock bands. (more…)
