Kansans give Obama eighth lowest job rating

Though President Obama's job-approval ratings have dipped recently, his approval rating for his first half-year on the job was 63 percent, according to a Gallup survey. He also had approval ratings greater than 50 percent in all but two states — Wyoming, 46 percent approval, and Alaska, 49 percent. Kansas was tied with the eighth lowest rating among the states, with 55 percent approving of Obama's job performance and 32 percent disapproving.
